Slice of Life. Reincarnated as an 8yr old kid. Doing adventure work. Overpowered but truly mature and restrained kid. He was 40 when he died. Starts a laundry mart. Looking after friends and employees with love and care, etc, etc.

7/10

Alongside S2: Overall this series is too tame it might be boring. If you like extremely chill characters/story then this should be next on your watch list.

The plot line is nice for a feel-good series, and can be a strong contender for a series with good "template". Unfortunately, for average watcher, you will find all the characters to be very shallow. You get tons of characters and somehow 1 defining characteristics they have is they all are kind.

I guess that's also a charm on its own. You'd prob expect some characters have layers on other series, but you can pretty much expect everyone is genuinely kind here. No drama, no nonsense.

Decent, relaxing, isekai slice-of-life kinda thing.
Rather enjoyed it.

This is one of the most chill anime ever.
Yes, it's an isekai.
Yes, the MC is somewhat powerful.
BUT:
No harem nonsense.
No save-the-world-from-some-various-doom.
No fanservice, making it great for younger viewers.
Not a lot of egregious battle.

It has plenty of character development and some world-building. It has a very light tone, with lots of humour and a lot of likeable characters. It has a nice even pace. Also, he basically gets a girlfriend almost immediately, even if he hasn't figured it out yet....

This is well worth the effort and, YES, there IS going to be a season 2!

It's all cute and colorful, without plot or any action, just slice of life in another, fantasy and peaceful world. No ecchi too, as MC is 11 year old boy. It's interesting, but also don't expect too much as you watch it mainly for eye-candy stuff. Characters are very nice, but without any plot their potential can't really be seen. So in the end MC opens wash house.

This just blew by. Fantastic and gentle. Obviously the MC is OP and is blissfully unaware of it, making everyone around him just get flabbergasted, but that's some of the charm of the series.

The series wholly rotates around the MC, cataloguing his daily life and the progression from being basically a mountain man (boy), to expanding his world and learning about it.

If you're on the fence, go for it, you'll enjoy it enormously. Eagerly looking forward to season 2.

The definition of a feel-good show, nothing bad ever happens. Although there is some unexpected, but appreciated social criticism towards the end regarding unhealthy work environments. Also, cleaning toilets is serious business in this show (as it should be).

The titular gods are basically us, the audience, enjoying the slice of life isekai they themselves set in motion.

If you like isekai and heartwarming slice of life, it's worth the watch. It's not the next bookworm isekai, but it has similar vibes and is still good despite being less substantial.

Now, I know what you're thinking.. Is this a low budget Tensura ?

NO! It is completely different, not only in direction, execution, plot, and overall atmosphere!

The only comparison to be made here is the fact that it focuses a good bit on slimes! In very interesting ways. It has pretty decent world building, concepts, and it has 0 to almost no conflicts or drama at all. I know, it sounds boring right?

However, I ASSURE you it is not! It is very attention grabbing in its own way! The amount of variation in the way the main character uses his slimes to better everyday life, and those around him is simply INCREDIBLE! It is in its very own way unique and VERY entertaining.

A very well-done Isekai + Slice-of-life mix!

If you are on the fence about this one and enjoy the Isekai genre in the slightest, DO NOT miss out on this one.

A lovely, calm isekai that will allow your soul to rest and recharge because it's the kind of series where you know nothing bad is going to happen. I enjoy sometimes this kind of series where the main character is above average or OP in everything because it's in sharp contrast with how hard real life is for us. The OPness of the main character is softened by his utterly humble character. Plus, his previous life was so hard that you watch the series thinking that he deserves a good break.
